I just bought a BNIB PAM305 last week, and the bezel jiggles a bit. I have posed the same question as you on two watch forums and my experiences are shared by the majority on respondents. Not only in relation to Panerai Submersible, but also Omegas, Breitlings etc. I prefer the Panerai out of those two. I love the Submersibles, I have two PAMs but haven't crossed the Submersible off the list yet. I like the spitfire IWC but that wasn't an option - but also not something I have had yet either.
